Record screen and Cam seperately for later vertical video cutting

Hi.
I used to record horizontal videos for youtube and record my Mac screen and myself as set up in an OBS scene.
I then realized that its difficult to later cut vertical video versions.
So now I would like to record the camera signal and the mac screen as two separate video files so I can put them together in a horizontal and vertical video version in Final Cut.
Is that possible?
