Question / Help Record Powerpoint Presentation dont works

Hi,

i dont no if it's a bug or i'just to stupid. My target is to only reccord my PowerPoint-Presentation and no other windows when i switch to these.

I start my PPP and then start the Presentation. So i have two windows: Once the powerpoint programm to edit the powerpoint and once the powerpoint presentation itselfs, where i cant edit anything. I want to record the second one, the PPP itselfs.
So my next step was to start OBS and choose under sources "Window capture" and then under "windows" i choose the presentation. But it dont works.
Either OBS record the hole display or it records the first foil of my presentation and doesnt go on. I try different Windows Match Capatillitys but no difference.

Do you see any mistakes?

Unfortunately it isnt an option to record the whole display. There is one windows that should not be record.

Unfortunately this is a problem with how Powerpoint is coded.
The only workaround is to use a Display Capture to capture it properly, then apply a Crop filter to the capture source to trim it down to only the region you want to capture. Note that this will be an absolute region on the screen and will NOT track along if you move the presentation window, and will capture any other windows that move over that region.
