Question / Help Record on Multiple Files

Hi, i am new to obs and i wanted to know if there is an option to record on multiple files instead of one big file?

No, however it's pretty simple to cut out parts of a recording into separate video files using a program like Avidemux.

I asked because I recorded a ~20 min video with about 5GB and when I import the file into Sony Vegas, it freezes, but when I record on multiple files it goes just fine.
