Record long streams in shorter blocks

Hi everyone

I am looking for a plugin/script that makes it possible to record short blocks of 1-2 hours while streaming.

I am using OBS for streaming several running competitions that lasts for 1 - 3 days (24 hours running and bakcyard ultras).
We would like to keep the recordings in youtube after we are done, but with youtubes 12 hour limit that is not possible.

For know we have started and stoped the recording manually in 8 hours blocks, but this is not a rational method and 8 hours is still to long.

Does it exist some plugin/script/tool that makes this possible?

Figured it out.

This is possible by using the plugin "Automatic scene switcher" and simply tell it to stop and start recording at whatever interval you wish.

A quick note is to set a at least 2 sec of delay on starting the record again.

Using Advanced Output mode you have "Automatic File Splitting" option inside the recording tab
