Your system is below minimum specs for OBS to run and
may be too underpowered to record. There are no recommended settings we can suggest.
1. Close any open applications including OBS.
2. Run OBS as Admin. Right click on the OBS shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.
3. Set your base, canvas and webcam resolution to 1280x720. This is to avoid any scaling which uses resources.
4. Record to MKV. If you record to MP4 or MOV and the recording is interrupted, the file will be corrupted and unrecoverable.
If you require MP4 files for some other purpose like editing, remux them afterwards by selecting File > Remux Recordings in the main OBS Studio window or enable Auto Remux in the Advanced Settings.
Hopefully you see some improvement, if not, try the Auto-Config Wizard in the Tools menu. You may need to upgrade or replace your computer for a better experience. I have no idea how you're using Quick Sync as
specs say No. You can always try recording to mpeg with FFmpeg or some other older codec.
