I am a teacher who uses a surface book 2 (i7-8650U integrated CPU and Nvidia GTX 1060 dGPU) and the accompanying pen to write on an online whiteboard in Chrome. I also want to record/stream these online lessons using OBS. The most logical option seems to be using display capture, but then I need OBS to use the integrated CPU, which for some reason I have not figured out yet creates some serious lag for my pen writing in Chrome, so unfortunately this is not really an option. So I really need OBS to use the dGPU to capture Chrome, I read that window capture and game capture use the dGPU. So I tried window capture and it only captures chrome when I disable hardware acceleration in Chrome, which makes the pen writing unreadable, so again no option. If I enable hardware acceleration the pen works fine, but OBS shows a black screen, only displaying my cursor... So is there a way to capture my handwriting in Chrome using my Nvidia GTX 1060, without turning hardware acceleration off?
