Hello, im realy new to all that stuff and hope i can get some advice.
I use AMD RX 7900 XT with Encoder: AMD HW AV1

I want to record Baldurs Gate 3 and the Game is working very fine on Max Settings. Also the Recording works on different quality Settings, but all Settings of quality have the same Problem, when i use AMD HW AV1, they have all 20-30 seconds a frame rate drop.

It doesn´t seem to be a performance Problem, the Card is working under 50% when ingame Recording is aktiv and its also just happening in the Recording not in the Game, the Game works fine, so maybe its some wrong or missing preferences i need to do for my encoder i use?

I realy tried to find something, but i wasnt able to find something helpfull. Because of that it would be great to get some help :)

There are no frame drops with OBS or this video, it is probably a playback issue because AV1 format support is pretty poor currently. Just a heads up, apart from smaller file size you aren't gaining anything with using AV1 so if this is bothering you I'd recommend sticking to H265 or H264.

Yea true, it was my intention to have a smaller file, i used H265 before and some Games need a nice bump of space, so i was hoping, that maybe i´am doing something wrong. Lets see what the future offers us =)
