Question / Help Record audio from desktop (game, browser, etc.)

Is there a way to record the audio from the desktop such as with a game or audio coming through a web browser. I have not found a way to do this. I tried connecting my line out to line is but that did not work. Seems there should be a way to do this.

OBS should capture everything that you hear already, just make sure your output (the stuff you can hear) is selected in OBS. You do have many more options if you use the multiplatform version.

btw can i capture the music and not hear it - it means watchers on twitch hear music and game and my voice but i hear only game? is it possible?

Thanks that did work. I didn't try it because I had no audio input device selected and thought I needed some input device such as a mic or line input, I just left everything at default and it recorded the audio just fine. The "mic" symbol on the main shows no input audio but it does still record the audio.
