Question / Help Record audio as seperate file?

Hi, could someone tell me how to record audio into a seperate file please?

I don't know if that can be done in Studio but what I do is use Format Factory, which is free, and take the video file and then save it as an MP3 and that save just the audio portion of the file..You can convert it to other formats also..

Hmm, that's what I currently do, but I use ffmpeg to extract the audio track from the video.
