Question / Help Record a frame and freeze video

I use shortcuts to save some space while doing nothing interesting on going on brake during game and i need to make this work

Btw do i have to change some settings everytime i update OBS?

Ehm i probably have OBS-stuido. Damn i am in wrong forum :/ can admin move it ?

What are you trying to record and why are you using display capture? Have you tried a different source type like game capture?

No. Once i manage to find settings that works i didnt changed it because i dont really understand it.

I am recording various games on steam and couple outside of steam.

If you want something specific these are the games: Dark Souls 3, Black Desert Online, Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Dishonored and couple more.

Btw i think i can confirm its happening when i am using shortcut and not actually click on button "start recording" or w/e its called.

Using a hotkey instead of clicking the Start Recording button shouldn't make a difference at all. Try using a game capture source instead.

I dont know how to set up this "game capture" or what it should mean.

It's a source, the same as the display capture source you're currently trying to use. Add it like you add any other source by right-clicking in the sources box.

Wow. Looks cool. Anything else i should "check" in that options ?

Tested: and no lag at start. gonna test it couple more times but i think its working! :)
