I tried to use an old M-Audio Fast Track Pro with windows 10 and could not get it to
stop "stuttering" playing through OBS - either direct or through Voicemeeter, but Voicemeeter
output was fine) . I didn't dig to deeply, but I gleaned from posts to get the source and
OBS on the same sample rate, ideally 48khz because that what the video industry uses preferably.
The MAudio was fixed at 44.1, so I made OBS 44.1 still no good.
OK so its old, and the driver was designed for windows 8, so I can step away from it.
Now any recommendations on XLR input devices that have a good track record with OBS?
I tend to like things physically in the bus, but USB is ok too. Could be a XLR converter cable,
a recording interface, or a USB mixer. If it has multiple mic jacks, it would be nice if they
were available as separate feeds to windows. But so far we only need one audio channel in.
Thanks!
