Question / Help Recommended GPU

What do you recommend for a good GPU to use OBS with? Also, I currently have a dual core system...not sure if I really want to invest in an upgrade for that too...

Currently I have an Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset and I have already determined that won't work.

Not really sure if I should recommend a graphics card, because with a dualcore system if you plan to do anything on that same pc while streaming-recording, you will not be happy.
