I'm considering the purchase of a capture device to use with OBS/64 running on Win10/64. I have a JVC camcorder and two legacy Canon camcorders with HDMI out and ideally would like to run VLC player on an independent laptop that becomes a source for a "sing-along" (Karaoke jock) leader. Audio for the sing-along leader can be independent of the capture device.
The market seems to offer several possibilities, i.e. Inogeni, gofanco, Elgato, Mirabox, etc., etc.
From the descriptions online, the Inogeni devices look really good. Would one device allow 3 camcorders and a laptop/MS Surface to input to OBS?
Cost is a factor but performance and reliability are the most critical factors.
