Question / Help Recoding of a stream breaks up in pieces.

Greetings All

I have searched the forums for my issue and was unable to find a relevant thread.

My issue is that during the last two stream sessions i have conducted, the stream seems to have been flawless, but the recording of which, is deposited in chunks in the usual place.

Today's stream was about 2 hours long. And upon completion of the stream it had 3 video files from it, of the following lengths:

1st: 1h 13m
2nd: 19s
3rd: 40m

Now it may be as simple as obs having a trigger (mouse and/or keyboard pressing or similar) that i am unaware of and have pressed. But i was unable to find any similar settings in the program.

the settings to start/stop stream/recording are all unset to "none".

Any guidance or idea of what could cause it would be of great help,

Thanks in advance.

Deposited in chunks? I'm not entirely sure if I understand. Did it just disconnect or stop recording? If you're just recording, then it doesn't stop the recording unless you specifically stop it yourself.

As far as i know it did not disconnect (but i cant tell for sure), but if the stream did disconnect, would that cause video to stop and start a new file upon reconnect? If so that probably explain it.
