Question / Help Recently Bought A Microphone

So I currently stream using an avermedia live gamer hd internal cap card

I have astro a40s and the mixamp and I use a 3.5mm male to male from the back of the mixamp stream port to my computers line in.

OBS AUDIO SETTINGS: Desktop audio device - Line 1 (VIRTUAL AUDIO CABLE)
Microphone/Aux - Line In (STREAM PORT MIXAMP GAME SOUND AND CHAT)

Virtual Audio Cable, I run the audio repeater and I set: Wave in - Input (M AUDIO M-TRACK - this is my interface)
Wave Out- Line 1 (Virtual Audio Cable - this is so I can chat on stream)

The issue Im having now is that my stream does not pickup desktop sounds, which is an issue because autodj will not work, I cannot play music for my stream. Ive tried tinkering and toying around with settings and I am stumped. Please someone with the knowledge help me out and Ill make sure to give u lots of love on stream tonight.

You've set your Desktop audio to the Line in from VAC. So, You have to have that line including the desktop audio in your setup. It's not going to mix true desktop audio into the Line in that you set AS the desktop audio.

ali i see ur streaming from ps4.can u help me out with some audio set up?i cant seen to figure out how to get the game audio and my voice into the stream.it picks up my voice with the web cam mike and thats fine if i could just get the game audio in stream without losing it in my headpones.its either in my headset and not in stream or it in stream and not in my headset.im running elgato hd capture ps4 and OBS.thanks

The ps4 doesn't output to the headphones and through HDMI at the same time Eric. It's one or the other. You need the audio going through the HDMI for the capture card to pick it up, not through the headphones.
