Question / Help Recent Follower/Follower Goal

Hey guys so I have a question, was wondering what program's are good for a follower goal and recent follower as a Text File in OBS without having to type it in manually? Thank you in advance

SubAlert. http://twitch.tv/subalert Runs locally, writes out to a text file that you can have OBS watch with a Text layer, and auto-updates on the fly.

Just saying though, focusing on followers isn't really what you want to be doing; Twitch doesn't pay attention to follower-count as far as partnership goes, it's all about the average concurrent viewership. Plus if you run giveaways at X followers, it just encourages people to create fake accounts to hit those numbers, and give themselves a better chance at winning.

As a beginning streamer though I can only focus on followers... That is what matters to me right now. So i did try subalert but it wasn't updating for me, the text file that is. Any videos or something that can help with the recent follower. I scrapped the follow goal thing

Was the text layer set to monitor the file for changes? If you were looking at the file in Notepad, have to close and re-open it. Also, it has built-in anti un/re-follow spam measures to keep people from bumping themselves up the list. Follow notifications also take a while as they aren't an instant-notify or API push update, the program scans the follower list every few minutes and watches for changes.
