Question / Help Recent choppiness (dual pc stream setup)

Hey all,

Just recently I've noticed some sever choppiness to my stream.

I've been streaming Metro Exodus and have noticed that the frames have been inconsistent. I have a 2080ti from gaming PC hooked into El Gato HD 60 on stream PC, and I do an extended desktop setup and use OBS on game PC to full screen project to stream PC. I do this because my game PC is using a 1440p 144hz display and when I mirror display and choose a custom resolution for el gato, most games refuse to let me play above 1080p.

Anyways, if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Log contains no output session. You need to start streaming, observe your problem, stop streaming, then upload the log.

Log ends when streaming starts. Streaming session needs to be complete for performance data to be included in the log.

That log doesn't even include an attempt at streaming or recording.

Quit the app. Reopen it. Start streaming. Wait until you observe the problem you want to troubleshoot. Stop the stream. Upload the current log.

I am guessing you are uploading the last log instead of the current log.

If you have to, open them manually and make sure you find a log that shows a session starting and finishing before uploading.

This log has startup:

I think I figured it out. I think either Riva Tuner Statistics, or Precision X Server running in background on gaming computer was causing the major frame dropping to stream PC. Now I just gotta find a GPU overclock Tool that won’t cause issues with streaming. Thanks
