Question / Help really new to computers/streaming, game capture question?

hey guys, i didn't major in comp sci or anything but i'm tryna stream some dota. when i downloaded OBS, everything went smoothly but when i go to add a source, "game capture" doesn't come up- am i missing something here? any help would be appreciated.
