Question / Help Really bad audio quality with high audio settings

I set the audio to highest, still it sounds like the high frequences are boosted and lower frequences are not strong.
I also have problem getting HD footage. It's blurry even though I have high settings and an OK computer. I read a lot about OBS settings but can't figure this audio thing out.
If anyone has tips on video too that is appreciated too!

Is this local recording only? Use a custom buffer and set it to 0. This will unlock the bitrate and let it use as much as is needed. Should take care of the blurriness. If you're intending to livestream, you need to turn your bitrate WAY down and fix your settings to work within technical limitations.

OBS only can capture 2-channel audio. So it may not be grabbing the full audio mix if it's playing in 7.1 mode, given your headset. I believe there was a thread a few weeks back about how to mix down 7.1 to 2-channel for recording/casting purposes (use the search in the top right).

This is local recording only. Custom buffer is already set to 0.

I have 100 000 bitrate (to allow it to use as much as needed), but my videos only turns out around 6000 kbit/s.
For my stream settings I have 8000kbit/s (with fixed buffer 8000) and the stream is the same quality as my local recordings.

I shall search for that thread about converting 7.1 to stereo :)

Couldn't find the thread you talked about :(
