Hi there.
I have a really strange problem and I already tryed to find ANY solution in the net but i didn't find ANY similar problem or solution.
After having several problems setting up the Razor Ripsaw I finally managed to get sound to the stream (using OBS Studio 64bit) following several guides.
But after some time the sound and the video of the video capture device (in my case the Ripsaw) stops working. The video freezes and there is no sound anymore.
Quick fix to be back on stream is:
- Select the Video Capture Device
- Properties
- Change the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720
- Change the resolution back to 1920x1080
- Hit "ok" and everythig is working again.
I have a GamingPC -> StreamingPC setup combined with Virtual Audio Cable and Audio Repeater setup.
Gaming-PC specs:
CPU: Intel i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core
Motherboard: MSI Z97-G43 GAMING ATX LGA1150
GPU: MSI AMD Radeon R9 290X
Memory: HyperX Savage 2x8GB (2400MHz, CL11)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD
PSU: Antec HCG M 850W 80+ Bronze
Windows 10
Streaming-PC specs:
CPU: Intel i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core
Motherboard: ASRock H97M-ITX/AC Mini ITX LGA1150
Memory: Kingston 2x8GB DDR3-1333
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD
Case: Cooler Master Elite 130 Mini ITX
PSU: Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze
Webcam: Logitech C920 HD Pro
Other: Razer Ripsaw Game Capture Card
Windows 10
- Based on a streaming setup-guide for GamingPC -> StreamingPC with Virtual Audio Cable all sound is going to the virtual LineIn 1.
- The Ripsaw is listening to my Headset microphone.
- With the Audio Repeater the gaming sound is routed to the Ripsaw (from virtual LineIn 1).
- I don't have any under/overflow in my Virtual Audio Cable
As you can see in the logfile attached I had to change the setting 23 times for my stream... that's so anyoing.
Does anyone have any solution for this?
Or if you need any further information - let me know.
Edit: Same stuff is happening with OBS Classic aswell btw.
Regards
