Question / Help Rattle Sound when streaming

Hello there.

My set-up is as following

i7-3770k
h100i
msi gtx 680 HAWK
Asus Maximus V Gene
Kingston hyperX 120 gb ssd
seagate 3tb Baracuda
WD black 1 tb
Corsair tx750
Samsung Green Series 8gb 2333 mhz

Gear
g700
c920
g510
g35 <- Headset.
Blue Yeti

When I'm streaming using this gear my sound in my headset sometimes get's this weird distorted rattle sound for just a second every now and then. I've got no clue why it's there. It's not there when I'm using my Audio Technica ath-m50s since it's AUX... But I really wanna use my g35 for gaming, and I'm certain it's not the headset since it's only doing it when streaming.

It's happening when listening to youtube on stream, or just simple game sounds from WoW and Smite all played on ultra with stream at 720p 60 fps. 128 bitrate sound stream quality 8. Bitrate 3500.

Yes I will be uploading a video later today with the issue. Just checket out how it sounds when I'm using my audio technica... and it's fine with that. It's when I'm using g35... usb. In surround and non surround. Not sure if you can hear it on the recording or just in the headset man. I'll try to check it out later on.

Hmm, I tried watching but I didn't notice any "rattling" noise like you were talking about. I guess I heard some noise like you were moving the microphone around a bit, maybe, but I didn't notice a "rattling" sound. Can you point out an exact timestamp where it happens so that I know what I'm looking for?

Also, are you saying it only happens with the G35, or with both? And you said it only happens when streaming? It might be an issue with an overloaded system...can you post your log? http://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=97

Yes I'll do this tomorrow.. It's 03:10 at night where I am.

I know it's not really hearable in the stream... It's pretty much just in my headset and seems to only be through my usb headset. And my set-up is oc'd as a beast so that may be that yes.

why hello there again.

So I got my internet upgraded to 10mbit upload (4 mbit with 32 mbyte packages)

I still get that weird ass rattling sound only when streaming dosn't matter what headset I'm using.

Settings:
using cbr and cbr padding
maxbitrate 3000 buffer size 3000
codec aac 160 bitrate (have tried others and my headset / audio output has been set to the same (48khz stereo)
quality balance 10

downscaled from full hd to just hd but running 60 fps.
aero has been disabled.

i7-3770 (non overclocked running stock to not get voltage spikes to play a part)
maximus V gene
8gb samsung green series 1866 9 9 9 27

still get this weird little tear in the sound every now and then.. halp !
