Randomly partially garbled alert sounds

Hi everyone. I've got a problem where many of my alert sounds for Twitch sub, followers or other redemptions don't play correctly. Sometimes they play correctly, but often the sounds start with kind of a garbled/computerized sound and then the remainder of the sound plays normally. Other times the same sounds play totally normally. Every time I've tested on my own, they work just fine, but for some reason during actual normal streams I get the issue. I tested both in OBS not during a live stream and also on a test stream on another account while recording the file at the same time - no issues. This issue happens to me EVERY stream multiple times and I haven't found a solution. When I would stream from my Mac (also OBS Studio), I never had the issue... it only seems to happen in Windows. I've attached an audio clip that shows the issue that happens every time at the start of the alert.

Troubleshooting:
- I've tried to make sure all my Windows sound devices match the OBS Khz setting
- Turn down the website volume (on the website itself) for each sound lower than 100%... usually about 85% (Stream Elements & Triggerfyre)
- Turn down the stream audio level in my Elgato Wave Link software from 100%
- Turn down the audio source level from 100% in the OBS audio sources (although this doesn't pipe into the stream audio channel anyway)

Thanks for the reply! The sounds I used were my own, but they were in .mp3 format.
For my StreamElements (I don't use Streamlabs or Streamlabs OBS) sounds, I replaced the files used for donations with the original files I got from the StreamElements support community. They are .wav files and *seem* to be working normally.
Once I saw that, I replaced ALL of my other sound alert files with .wav instead of .mp3.
Unfortunately, it still seems like the problem is still there.

I never thought about the files themselves! What should I look for? I can check tomorrow.

Also, how do I get a log file? What should I look for in the log?

Thanks for the help!

lost frame or conection problems post it here

load the file in VLC press Ctrl + i then on codec you see the codec infomations of the file look into a file that work and convert the other not working files with audacity !

I *think* the only sound that seemed to work consistently was a alert file from StreamElements for a bits donation. I noticed this file was encoded in .ogg format at 160 kb/s. My .mp3 files are at 320 kb/s. I couldn't find anything in the codec info on the .wav files for kb/s. So, I'm going to try re-creating all files at 160 kb/s in .ogg format (not sure if .ogg matters).

I opened the log file for OBS, but didn't see any errors related to lost frames or connections... if it's there, I couldn't recognize it.

Also, does this audio settings page have anything to do with stream output bitrate for sounds or is it only for local recording? If I use sound files with 160 kb/s bitrate, should I set the appropriate OBS sound channel to the same instead of 320?

After converting sounds to .ogg and doing a test stream for just a few minutes I didn't seem to have any improvements.

However, I did notice that when I had audio monitoring on for that audio source in OBS (no output, just monitor) this seemed to cause the issue. When I turned it off, the issue resolved as best as I can tell.

If that is indeed the cause, somehow I'd have to figure out how to hear the stream alerts in my headphones as well in a different way...
