Question / Help Randomized Image Slide Show not working properly

Hello friends,

I have a folder of roundabout 1000 screenshots from my favorite game, and from time to time I use the "Image Slide Show" to make a 3 minute long video of randomly picked pictures from it as introduction for my stream. Now for the first time this doesn't work right. The slide show uses just 10 or 20 screenshots from that folder instead of all 1000, and so the same pictures show up very frequently.

Renaming the folder or copying the pictures into a new folder doesn't fix the problem. Is there anything else I can do? Or is this a bug and we have to wait for a fix?

OBS will currently only load 250MB worth of screenshots to avoid using all your RAM.
 
have the same problem and it seems developers do not like to fix it or give a solutionhow to increase the ram. what is the last version to downgrade where i do not have this problem
 
Having a similar issue. Trying to make a slideshow but it's only showing the first 10 or so images. The total directory size is well under 250mb.
