Question / Help Random Stream Stuttering

I'm experiencing a periodic stutter in my stream.

14 seconds in on this clip, both the capture card and webcam have frame issues:

4000 Bitrate
1080p/30FPS

No dropped frames show (I have 6 up).

seems like it's the same problem alot of people have with encoding overloads.

I forgot to mention, I'm not getting the encoding overload issue on the bottom left of the screen. CPU usage peaks at 40%.

Looks like no stream/record attempt in that log. Try to get a clean log file:

To make a clean log file, first restart OBS, then start your stream/recording for ~30 seconds and stop it again. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc. When you're done select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

The webcam is a Logitech C920 and the capture card is an Avermedia C985, the whole clip stutters (camera and gameplay capture) which leads me to believe it might be an OBS issue.

Looks like you're overloading your CPU. Try lowering output resolution to 720p. 4k is barely enough bitrate for 1080p 30fps anyway.

1080p streaming will cause those issues with that CPU.
Try downscale to 720p as suggested.
