Question / Help Random sound fluctuations

So i'm trying to set up Obs and the only problem right now is that my mic randomly becomes quiet or load based on the tone of my voice or loudness, im unsure. I checked on other programs that use my voice such as skype or discord and my sound are fine so it cant be my mic. Is there some setting or way that i can make the mic recorder stable
