Hi there,
My Xsplit sub recently expired and I'm not going to be renewing it. Therefore I have moved to OBS which, so far, has been far easier to configure and has some amazing scene customization features that Xsplit does not have.
I am, however, experiencing a slight issue. While I have OBS recording "monitor capture" locally it locks up my PC for a few seconds every once in a while. I don't know what it is that's causing it but my PC is more than capable of recording while playing - I could use FRAPS if I really wanted to without issue but OBS is way more convenient - and I also can't find any information through Google searching that seems to be the issue I'm experiencing. It's not a full-on lock up and crash, I'll just be recording and the next thing I know my screen is frozen, nothing is responsive and then, a couple seconds later, everything's back.
An interesting note is that even though everything has locked up the audio I'm recording through Audacity continues without issue while the recorded video does, in fact, show the lock-up before it continues.
There's my most recent log file, though I don't know how helpful it'll be. If there's any information that I should provide please let me know and I'll do my best to update accordingly after I get home from work.
