Random FPS drops on recorded videos despite games and programs running smoothly

Hello. I was trying for so long to resolve this issue by myself, but after so much time I need help with this.
Couple months ago OBS started recording my videos in weird way. Recorded footage started getting random FPS drops despite not having issues in games and programs. Usually from smooth 60 to 30-ish, at completely random moments.
That's my current recording settings:

And also attaching log file from my recording session.
If anyone would also have any tips for 1080/60 high quality image recording I would gladly take it. No matter how many guides I'm using always videos looks like bitrate was completely hurt.

If I need to attack more info, please let me know. I really want to resolve this issue.

Don't use CBR for recording, instead use CQP.
Actually, don't use advanced output at all. Keep it in simple. Run the Auto-configuration Wizard (tools menu) and apply the settings it gives. Restart OBS (yes, do restart). Now test it as is.

Neither resolved issue. Still getting random drops in videos.

According to the log file there's no drops.
Are you using VLC (adviced) to watch the recorded video or the windows (not so good) player?

To record games is usually better to use game-capture, and if this method isn't working as intended, use window-capture.
Do not use display capture for this.

Watching in VLC always, recording in game capture. Window capture is not an option as it doesn't see games I'm playing.
I will add the frame drop is visible in preview window in OBS too when it happens at random moments.

Month passes and still stuck with same issue after different Simple options even.
Here's video example of weird drop and log file from same recording.

Please tell me what I can do. I don't want to reinstall entire system just to fix this.

Logs look OK, 144 is the common thread & not helping your cause. Try capping your games @ 60FPS & running your monitor @ 60HZ.

19:51:30.311: output 0:
19:51:30.311: name=
19:51:30.311: pos={0, 0}
19:51:30.311: size={1920, 1080}
19:51:30.311: attached=true
19:51:30.311: refresh=144

Uncheck Visual Tuning (encoding settngs)

The point is it wasn't always an issue, it started happening after one of OBS updates.

About visual tuning, so I have to go back to advanced settings, ye? Will post again if all of them are okay now:

You keep recording in CBR intead of CQP. That's why I adviced to leave the advanced output in favor of the simple output.
Untick Look-ahead and recording format is highly recommended to use MKV container.

I was entire time in simple output, switched back to Advanced just now.
Also why I should use mkv instead of mp4? Both outputs are giving me same results.

FYI, CQP was the Rate Control on last log posted.
16:11:05.927: codec: H264
16:11:05.927: rate_control: CQP
16:11:05.927: bitrate: 0
16:11:05.927: cqp: 16
16:11:05.927: keyint: 250
16:11:05.927: preset: p5
16:11:05.927: tuning: hq
16:11:05.927: multipass: qres
16:11:05.927: profile: high
16:11:05.927: width: 1920
16:11:05.927: height: 1080
16:11:05.927: b-frames: 2
16:11:05.927: lookahead: false
16:11:05.927: psycho_aq: true

Anyway, the mkv container is pretty much resistant to failure, mp4 not so much. Moot point if your system is stable/doesn't crash & if you have back up power.

Then I'll stick with mp4, my laptop is stable enough.
About log, as I said, I changed back from Simple to Advanced after the post.

I don't know what to do at this point.

Those encode settings from your log are OK. You can bump the Preset p6, just uncheck Visual Tuning.

Did you get those caps set? You'll never get a smooth recording with your monitor @ 144.

I have caps set, I will say even more, I never had issues with dropped frames on videos recorded on 144 Hz until one of OBS updates. Sadly I cannot pinpoint after which one it started...

Made all changes y'all suggested, sadly without effect. Switching screen to 60 Hz didn't helped either.

I need to see a log but I also suspect there may be some settings in the Nvidia control panel that may need to be adjusted.

Here's a few of them

Monitor Technology GSYNC Off > Fixed Refresh rate.

vsync > fast/on

Triple Buffering > On

vsync > fast/on

Triple Buffering > On
Refresh rate: 60Hz
Monitor Technology GSYNC: not having this option
vSync: On
Triple buffering: On

Also I have now insane screen delay with those settings.

Also I will add I asked around my friends and I'm not alone with this issue; they have too random FPS drops in recordings and even on streams despite games/captures being smooth on their sides.

There's no recording session in that log but I don't believe OBS is the issue here. Could be a bad driver (Nvidia) or something else with your settings.
