Random Dropped Frames due to rendering lag

This is a new problem that developed over the last month. I'm not sure if this is due to an OBS update or my system. Without fail every time i open OBS the frames missed due to rendering lag goes orange or red ( can't recall the color) but shows dropped frames and then 1 second later resets itself to 0. Not sure if that's related or relevant but other than that I have a hard time replicating the issue. I recorded for 2 hours and 0 dropped frames due to rendering lag. I just recorded again for 2 hours and dropped 15 frames. It happens every single day but always at random times. I know the number is small but I don't understand why this is happening. Maybe someone can give me some insight. I've done most of what people recommend. Deleted all scenes with stream element browser things, even deleted every scene i need other than 1, run as admin, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your report does not contain information about dropped frames, but the reason is obvious. First, use the analyzer and follow the recommendations.

Your problem is related to the overload of the encoder. You should change the preset to P4 qres mode or lower the output resolution.

I looked & i believe the report does show the 16 dropped frames at the very bottom. This aspect ratio is what I use for Recording Youtube videos and it's never been a problem so i can't change that. I've used the anazlyer and it doesn't show anything I haven't tried. This started recently. I was previously recording with CBR at 25000 and still having the issue. I've been told my PC build can handle that no problem. With my system recording gameplay from a PS5, i don't understand how that is overloading the encoder? Nothing but OBS is running

Also i could be wrong, wouldn't I be getting dropped frames from encoding lag if the encoder was overloaded or does that work differently? Not super knowledge about it

16 missed frames out of 48578 is nothing, don't pay attention to it. When they become 3-5%, this is already a problem and this is what you should pay attention to. Open in OBS Docs / Stats

Here is an example of a serious problem
scale_1200

If this does not happen, then you have nothing to worry about and nothing needs to be changed.

Reduce the resolution of your streams. In general, the higher the stream resolution, the higher the CPU usage. ...
Reduce the bitrate of your streams.
If live streaming over WiFi try using an ethernet cable.
Check your firewall settings.
Broadcast to a server that is closest to you.

Hope you find this helpful,
James

This is local recording for Youtube. No internet being used because i'm not streaming. My CPU usage is fine. It's at 0.68% while i record on my GPU. None of this was relevant to my issue but thank you for trying to help James!

How's the stuttering/tearing? With your monitor's all at different refresh rates, your recordings must look anything but great.

Sampling rate mismatches should be fixed too.

Use Preset P5 & change Multipass to qres.
