What are you doing for real-time network monitoring of both your system as well as your LAN as a whole, and the router/firewall interface?
- Yes, this is overkill *if* you have only a single PC on LAN, no WiFi, etc
- And there are plenty of cases where an ISP has intermittent throughput issues, or the specific Public Peering points (HUGE Internet routers) your traffic is routed via... if your issue is caused by something after streaming traffic leaves your modem, then it gets tricky to confirm exact source and get issue resolved (via ISP)
- Though far more often, the issue is within the LAN or local ISP connection hardware (ie your firewall/router or modem)
