Question / Help QuickSync, too dark image

So, I'm really liking how I can play my games with my dedicated GPU, and QuickSync captures anyway without putting pressure on my CPU, avoiding almost any frame drop.

What I don't like is the image quality of the recording. The image is too dark and stays of the same quality, no matter what I set.

Here is an ingame screenshot (I picked a customized Minecraft menu because that's where you can see the difference the most)

Here instead we have a sample from a random recording

My system:

CPU: Intel Core i5 4200U
iGPU: Intel HD Graphics 4400 (referred to as "Intel HD Graphics Family in my PC)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8600M (too bad it does not support VCE)
HDD: a random one for laptop, 1tb
Where do I record: on a 2gb Ramdisk created using SoftPerfect RAM disk 3.4.7
RAM: 8gb (if that does even matter)

OBS settings:
I tried ICQ and CQP rate controls, both cranked up to 1 (lossless quality in theory? No difference in the end).
Profile on High, "Quality" Target Usage, mp4 format, Full 709 YUV color space (also tried 601), Direct3D 11 renderer, normal priority process, 1366x768 resolution (no downscale).

When setting ICQ or CQP, it doesn't seem I can choose a bitrate, unlike OBS Classic.

Note that I want to record, and not to steam.

If you want extra info, just ask and I'll do it. Thanks for your time, and have a nice day.

Encodes were dimmer in Studio
and this: Quick Sync / NVENC YUV Full Range Color (in part of how to check)
and maybe this: Best Color Settings for x264 qp=0 lossless recording (in part of max settings).

But maybe I'm wrong and none of the this is right (it's all about the player, you'll never now does it convert color range right or not until you have test image/video).

Quite tripping stuff lol, thanks for the reply.
So, setting YUV to partial (the only thing I can do with QuickSync it seems), the issue of dark color gets instantly solved. The difference is also quite minimal (comparing the recording with the game, the color quality is almost perfect), so I may declare the problem solved. Too bad full range doesn't work as expected, but as in practice I can't really see the need, it doesn't matter.

Thanks again for the reply, I owe you a drink :D
