Question / Help Quicksync, low CPU-usage.

Hey guys!

So I'm using QS when streaming to Twitch and it works great for me and my setup, the only problem is that sometimes the CPU-usage is around 4-5% wich is fine and dandy, however sometimes it decides to use only around 1%, I know I shouldn't complain since less CPU = less stress. The problem I see is in the quality, when I have the CPU using 5% it's looks really good and when I only use 1% it gets more pixelated.

Also, this is when playing the same game, PUBG, on the same settings.

Do you guys know why this is? I'm really new to OBS-Studio and streaming, so I appreciate all help!

3000 bitrate for 720p30fps on QuickSync is going to look pretty terrible. You would need to downscale to 480p or 540p, or up the bitrate quite a bit to get a decent quality stream with it.

Of the available options to you, QuickSync is the worst. Try x264, or NVENC instead.
