QuickSync Capped ICQ

I know QuickSync has VBR but compared to icq its just bad . On ffmpeg setting "-maxrate 6000" does the job , but on OBS there is no extra ffmpeg options like on nvidia or amd

Does anyone know a alternative way to cap the bitrate?

I know about the flags , the problem is i don't know where i can use them since obs has no box for optional ffmpeg inputs

Not sure what version of OBS you're using but take a look at the Custom FFMPEG output to see if QSV encoders are exposed. I'm still on 28.0.3 & they are not exposed on this version but may be on 28.1.x.

Im on 28.1.2 , should i try version 27?

Just checked it , neither 27 has the box

Sounds like you have Type is set to Standard

On the recording tab, try this
Output Mode: Advanced
Type: Custom Output (FFMPEG)

i already did , no good , il just stick with x264 then since it already has a Capped CRF , Thanks aloot for the help !

Gotcha, Thx for in info. I was going to update but with no QSV in the custom out, I can wait for the next release.
