Question / Help Quick Sync does not work with DCH drivers?

Recording \ Stream does not work when you select the Quick Sync codec. DCH drivers are installed, and the standard ones are no longer supported by Intel. I waited half a year, but no changes, will the Quick Sync support be implemented in OBS?

Hi. i working on this annoying problem for 1/2 hours today.

Solution: uninstall complete the onboard graphic driver from Driver Manager (i7 7700 is Intel HD Graphics 630)
Download the latest "Standard" driver (NOT DCH) https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/80939/Graphics-Drivers
Search yours Processor Generation and select this on the "Product" and select yours "Operating System" on the right side.

After you have done that, you can again choose among the products targeted your graphics chip (for me: Intel HD Graphics 630)



The Problem is the DCH. Quick Sync not working with DCH Drivers. I dont know why, but this working for me.

But this is not a “solution”, but a “compromise”, which I found right away. I would like something to fix this bug and the record worked with the new drivers.
