Hello,
I am using OBS v0.625b and attempting to use quick sync for broadcasting. x264 works perfectly and I know a solution would be to use x264, so please don't recommend that. I have zipped the crash log, the regular log and the dmp in this zip file that have all the same timestamp, so they should be from the same crash.
Settings are 720p running quick sync encoder. Crashing can occur, when streaming, about ~20 minutes, preview ~3h 20m. It's fairly random.
Computer settings I have is one monitor running on the iGPU of my i7-3770 and another running off ATI 4890. iGPU has 32mb ram allocated with DVMT, so it should give all it can to support whatever. I have attempted giving the max my mobo will give, which is 1GB, same type of crash with same time interval.
I would really like to get this working for myself and perhaps make OBS bitter with quick sync. I will check this thread frequently and any settings you wish me to provide or change, including my mobo settings iGPU etc, let me know.
Regards,
