Well since it looks like livestream will be working with the upcoming update I decided to post a quick how-to since most everything that talks about livestream is for xsplit or Flash media live.
First off open up Settings>Broadcast Settings and set streaming service to Custom. Now for the "FMS URL" use "rtmp://publish.livestream.com/mogulus/[channel name]/username=[username]/password=[password]/isAutoLive=true"
and for "Play Path/Stream Key" use "livestream". Now you can set the rest of the broadcast settings to your preference.
Next we need to change the Encoding settings. First you should check what your channel's video settings are because this will limit your max audio/video encoding bitrates (and if you go over you will just drop every frame and have to start again at a lower bitrate). For the "basic" free setting you get 500kbps. So for my OBS settings I was able to get away with Max Bitrate: 500, Buffer Size: 500, and audio bitrate: 192. But this may or may not work depending on the game you are streaming so if you suddenly start dropping every frame try turning down the settings or just matching what livestream suggests under "channel configuration".
For everything else just configure it as you would normally but keep in mind the tight bitrate constraints if you are streaming to a "basic" channel.
Thanks about all you need to get everything running if something doesnt work let me know and ill try and add it to this little how-to (remember this currently only works in the test builds and this is was only tested in v0.445a[pre-release 3] so its not guaranteed to work in any other version and absolutely wont work in any non-test build!)
