I have tried the estimator and discovered that most of my hardware isnt listed. (or at least I dont think it is) To be clear, I am going to use OBS for NON-streaming purposes. just local recording. So if i say that I have a 4thgen Intel Core i3-4170 3.7 GHz CPU, 16 GB of Ram, Windows 10 64bit, an Intel HD 4400 Graphics set, and A monitor that is 1920x1080, What would your EXACT setting recommendations be?

If your i3 isn't keeping up with the local recording guide's settings you can also try switching your encoder to Quick Sync under Settings > Encoder. You'll need to revert the changes from the guide (don't use a custom buffer size) and give it enough bitrate to look good (e.g. try with 15000 Kbps, if it doesn't look good enough then try 20000, etc.).
