Question / Help Questions about 2 PC Streaming.

I have a few questions to ask the experienced 2 PC stream setup pros.

CPU:

i7-4770K
or
i7-4820K

Both are about the same price, but the motherboards for the 2011 are about $200.
Will I see noticeable quality improvements with the 4820k over the 4770k?

Motherboard:

How important is the motherboard overall? What type of features should I make sure I have. What MoBo do you recommend?

Video Card:

Is there any quality improvements with having a higher end video card in the stream box?

Gaming PC Video Card:

Should I get a 4GB video card on my gaming rig since I'll be pushing to another "monitor". How important is the video card on my gaming PC for a 2 PC stream.

Extras:

What else can you share with me while I plan and build my stream box.

this honestly boils down to how much you can afford to spend.
the i7-4820K is only slightly better at video rendering than the i7-4770k
there are some advantages to the 2011 board, like quad channel memory and supporting a lot more ram. but you're likely not going to need all that.

your most important parts of your computer, while building one, is first the psu, second the motherboard, then cpu.
without a quality psu, you'll likely end up under powered or frying components. thats why it is the most important.
your motherboard is next because it controls everything from voltages, overclocks, chipset features, etc..

psu i only buy seasonic, anything else is just sub par in my eyes.
motherboard depends on what cpu you grab. if it were me, i'd just grab the i7-4770k with the msi mpower motherboard
GPU, may as well grab a 4gb card, this way you're not looking to upgrade down the road. yes a graphics card will greatly improve a stream since the video rendering isn't all offloaded to the CPU.

if you're going to go with a dual pc setup, get the avermedia c985 capture card as the BMI has way too many issues with compatibility.

if you run just obs on the second machine, you'll likely be able to run a pretty slow preset bumping your quality threw the roof. as an example, i've got the following. i7-3770k overclocked to 4.5ghz, h100 liquid cooling, gigabyte 7950 overclocked to 1100/1500, 8gb of ram, and seasonic psu all running on the msi mpower motherboard.
my stream settings are 720p @ 2500kbps and medium preset with enough overhead to game and stream without any issues on a 720p 32" monitor. i use the HD 4000 graphics for a second monitor to watch chat.
I've got no plans on streaming in 1080p since the video box on twitch and hitbox are both about 960x540. reducing the video by 1/2 (streaming in 1080) looks like crap, regardless of settings IMO.
so for you going with 4770k, you'd likely be able to push preset of slow even at full 1080p and 45fps. theres no need to do 60 since flash cant handle 60fps anyways. even if you were to record it for youtube, they dont do 60fps for 1080p. so the point in 60 is moot.

as for the 2011 cpu socket, you're not going to see a lot of improvement till you hit up the Intel Core i7-4920K and above. however these prices start above $500. justifying that price for streaming is going to be tough!

What wattage do you use on your PSU? I'm running a i5 3500k 660ti, and an avermedia live gamer HD. (not portable) with a 700 watt. I've always wonder if I was under powered. What would I see if I was under powered/?

underpowered would cause issues with loading the computer, bsod, drops in power.. among other issues.
my seasonic is a 520w, most people are shocked that i've got that small of a psu with the overclocks i've got going on.
but thats more about brand quality. in comparison to someone like corsair this would be like their 650cx psu. they don't actually make many of their own brand PSUs, some company i've never heard of does.

i should have been a bit clearer about the PSU factor, a junk psu can give the wrong voltages causing problems. either more or less power than it should be giving.

If i had to do it over again, i'd actually get a Platinum Seasonic PSU and somewhere around the 750w - 1,000w range. mostly for future proofing and expandability.

that live gamer is the the c985, good job on making the right choice!
