I decided to give it a try this morning, just to test it. I got very minimum lag in-game, no dropped frames, and a friend said it looked pretty good;

I heard that you need a really good PC to stream 1080p@60fps

But I feel like I just achieved that?

On testmy.net I uploaded 6mb.. upload speed came out to 4.3mbps
Should I see if 3500 bitrate would be better to help with pixelation? I don't exactly plan on keeping 1080p, it was only an experiment.

And other people need good PC too for watching the stream.
If you are streaming FPS : 720p@60fps
If you are streaming strategy : 1080p@30/24fps
Bitrate should be 3000 or less. (Less bitrate - Better stream)
Not everyone has high speed internet or powerful PC.

biggest problem with 1080@60 is the flash player since flash player sucks huge dick your viewers would net a least a dual core with ht or an quadcore to handle the stream else they run into up to 100% cpu usage and the stream starts lagging for them also 1080@60 needs an retarded high bitrate

I know a lot of big streamers that use 1080p and they get up in the 5 to 10 thousand viewer range. That's why twitch has the option for viewers to change the quality.

they all use 1080@30 or even 25 the the only big streamer with differnt settings is phantomlord which uses 1080@45

yeh 720@60 is the way to go ... i lately tried 720@60 with 2k bitrate and to be honest it doesnt even look that bad (played csgo) so you got a decent viewerbase
