I have a question, this is really important to me. I was wondering if there's anyway that for example I don't a certain color pink to show up in my screen at all and want it to be transparent is there a way to do tht? I can't really explain it we'll but this would really help me? like is there a plugin for that anything?

its called chroma key and is already available in almost all source types except game capture and slide show for so far i could discover.

how can I do it? can i get some screen shots or something idk where they are I' not trying to use it for webcam because chroma key is only for webcam

Well for the other sources it's called: color key.
And if you do not see the option in the source settings it means it's not available in obs for that particular source type.

color doesn't work it makes it just black so instead of a specific color it turns it black

Only in the preview image of OBS, not in the actual recording or on-stream. Try it.

Okay I'm using dxtory and I'm doing the chroma key from video capture device but when I preview and stream the bright green is black in the game its not transparent why?

Because you made that part of the game transparent and now you see whats behind the in the scene... which most likely is just the black canvas.

so is there a way to get this to work? like forexample I'm playing saints row right and I don't want a special color to show how can I make it so i'll fit in the background? would I need 2 window mode running at same time or what?

When you say you want it "transparent" what are you expecting? It's black because there is nothing behind it to show. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but right now it is behaving as expected.

Basically I want to run a game ( not a webcam) and I want a specific color like blue to not show up in the game do I need to run 2 of the game or what?

Well, we already told you to use chroma key, which is the right solution, but you said when you tried that, you were disappointed that the color that you wanted removed was replaced with black (since the color was removed, it became transparent, and there was nothing behind the game capture to show, so it was black). What result were you expecting?
