i understand theres a new version of obs out (I've been offline the last 3 weeks)

is the ability to add a 'new follower alert' on our streams available yet? like from this website - https://www.nightdev.com/followalert/

im not very technical when it comes to all this, so if it is available please explain how. much appreciated

Downloaded it, but like I said I am (along with a lot of others) are clueless with the technical terms, is there any easy guide of How to set it all up?

You add the browser source to a scene, and in the browser source settings, you put the URL that you get from NightDev for the follower alert. Just follow the NightDev guide, but instead of downloading the Browser source that he gives you, use the one I linked. Then the rest should pretty much be the same.

First download the browser source and run the installer.

Now, you see that link you linked to in your OP? https://www.nightdev.com/followalert/

Go there and click Install for OBS

Click Next

Set up your alert appearance

Click Next

Copy the Hosted URL

Open OBS

Click the + Button and select Browser Source

Give the source a name

Paste the Hosted URL into the Browser source URL box

Set the width and height to whatever the NightDev site says

done
