Hello,
Yes I know the question has been asked several thousand times but I just wanted to ask a more detail version of the question I cannot find. I understand that there are individual settings for recording and streaming on OBS but there is an output tab that you have to change if, like me, you don't have an upload speed of 8-15. So I have to drop to 30 frames and 720p for streaming but if I wanted to record at the higher 60 frames and 1080p output scale could you do this?
My other question is could one graphics card handle doing this? (also should note I have two monitors and will be getting a third one). I have a GeForce 1080TI overclocked and an intel 8700k overclocked to 4.7 ghz. So would I get a GPU encoder overload if I was doing one of the following:
Recording and playing an intensive game
streaming and playing an intensive game (both on GPU)
Recording, streaming, and playing a game (all three on GPU)
The reason I don't ask about the CPU is even though I know there is better quality at lower bit rate sometimes a game is too intensive for a CPU so I was asking only about the GPU. If It would be too much, I could SLI bridge a second GPU into my computer, Would I just select the 2 on GPU under the advance setting for both recording and streaming tab to be able to run it all on my second graphic card.
Thank you guys for the help!
