Hi, when I attached second monitor, I saw temp changes. With one monitor when I play Diablo 3, the GPU's temp is arund 69-70C+ .. when second monitor was installed the temperature increased by 7. So I am getting approx 75-77C now. Thats in Diablo 3. I've not played different games yet. By the way my main monitor is displaying the games, second monitor for the web and stuff..

So I have :
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 8GB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti

So, is that appropriate temperature for that GPU with dual monitors??

Thanks!

You would probably be better off asking this question on overclockers.net in the Nvidia section.

However, that seems normal to me considering you're running 2 monitors off the GPU. Generally making it work a little harder using up more resources and generating more heat. Makes sense no? o_O

I was under the impression that you were curious if the increase in GPU heat was normal...

But if you're asking about Temps for your GPU then I think that's acceptable considering Nvidia usually runs warmer than Radeons do. Thus, if you went to Overclockers.net or just googled it, you would have found your answer by now.

Funny how i clearly don't understand it but yet you're asking for hardware help on a forum that's made specifically to help people on software issues.

Yes, definitely not helping you.

Kruzus, vaesauce has given you two perfectly fine replies to your question. This is not the forum to ask if your particular video card model is running too hot or not with two monitors attached.
