Question for Musicians

Hi, Fellow Musicians, Like many, I'm new to OBS and using it to stream a live performance to ZOOM audience. ( I'm also new to using a Windows computer)

I've been told that if you are using a real Analogue mixing board ( with a built in USB interface) you don't need to worry about using virtual cables to connect OBS to ZOOM - you can just set up the ZOOM mic and speaker using what's coming out ( and back into) your mixer already.

Can anyone confirm that?

Thanks

install voicemeter add the mixer as source and a vcable as output ! voila works

and as second output you can use your mixer or something else !
but why zoom ? why not on yt twitch or something else so you have good picture and good sound zoom`s audio and video codecs are only for meeting the audio codec is tuned for voice not for music !

Thanks Cyclemat,

I'll try that. I agree about Zoom but i work in the corporate space doing a hybrid presentation that uses live music along part of the presentation like a traditional speaker with lots of traditional audience interaction like in a regular meeting. I do tend to have Original sound on so that helps. It's just that I'm still getting a little delay just using the mixer as the mic input.
