Question / Help Question About Stream Lag

Hello,

I have people in my stream that constantly complain about lag. I know it's not me because generally my bitrate stays pretty stable and I rarely drop frames. The weird thing is is that they can watch other streams perfectly fine. Could this be my Twitch server and if so how can I help this? Also I'd like to know if knocking my fps up to 60 from 30 would cause lag. My CPU could handle it easily and some in my stream say fps doesn't matter but bitrate does with Twitch lag. I'm not sure, I want to make sure first.

Thanks in advance,
Derk

Thanks for the reply. I've seen that thread before. The large glaring text, "YOU USE TOO MUCH BITRATE" doesn't apply in this situation though. I have a consistent 5.9mbps download speed. Literally anytime or anywhere I do a speed test I get a 5.9mbps. I stream at 2000kbps. I don't think this is anywhere near inadequate for viewers. I don't want to go any lower as well. Also, could you help me with the last part? If I a 30fps stream now and I go up to 60fps, will people lag more? :) Thanks again dude!

going up to 60 is useless because each frames quality gets cut in half. same bitrate, 2x fps... you'd be better with switching back to 30fps and droping your CPU preset. Also note there are some mobile viewers that cannot view 60fps well.
