Question / Help Question about OBS settings

Hello guys!

So i've been recording Assassin's Creed: Origins at 1080p, 60fps with 3audio's.
I earlier had a post, i'm having issues with FPS DROPS.

My question actually is, if i go down from 1080p to 720p. Will i i gain FPS?


Pc specs:
i5 6600k - Gtx 1060gb 6GB - Ram 16gb ddr4 - 1TB HDD & 500GB SSD

Downscaling the resolution would improve the performance of OBS, yes.
