So, i've run into an issue when broadcasting/recording/streaming my xbox with the elgato HD60. The xbox allows for "Speakers and Headset" for audio, so that the elgato chat link cable is not necessary for the xbox one. But when i enable that, my party chat is echoed. and not the standard echo. it is more of a "Reverb Echo" like the person in the party is talking twice at EXACTLY the same time. so it isn't echo, but more reverberations. but when i play back the recording, or watch the stream, the reverb/echo is not there. is there a fix for this? is it just a nuisance that i have to deal with when i record? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. ANY HELP would be great, it's driving me insane! Thank you.

Did you follow Elgato's instructions here? Based on your description it sounds like you're sending all console audio twice and recording both copies.

"Speakers and Headset" causes echo on your headset/headphone as you have just found out. Try "Speakers" only.

You are capturing only the HDMI speakers and not headset so the echo doesn't show up on record/stream.
