Hello everyone, My name is nightcodex and i have a general question which maybe solves alot of things for me if someone is able to reply correctly on this.

So basically i livestream ofcourse and im wondering.
Why is it that streaming with obs gives much more FPS drops then streaming with Nvidia?

So heres the thing i will upload some information below about my pc specs and obs streaming setup first take a look at it please.

Pc specs: http://imgur.com/hCiusp9

OBS setup : http://imgur.com/a/lGay9

Speedtest (Megabit) http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4566965351

Now im wondering why is it that streaming with this setup gives me 50-60 fps on league, but streaming other games like killing floor 2 gives me like 30-40 fps,

Now heres my question , Why is it when i stream with Nvidia that i get no ingame lagg? I can stream smoothly and the stream also looks good quality. What did i do wrong in the setups or what have i forgotten?

Its really helpfull if people were to add some extra tweaks into this i would be gratefull for that

Regards nightcodex

Shadowplay is hardware encoding on your GPU (NVENC), x264 uses your cpu.

Oh that clears up a big part, SO if i wanna use the shadowplay part on obs saying that i wanna use NVENC which is located at encoding in obs , What should i change in settings? Or do i have to change nothing rather then just checking the box Nvidia NVENC? because my CPU is not the best so its probaly best to run it through my GPU right?
