Question about audio monitoring

I have a question regarding audio. I am a musician and when I stream, I use a translation bot "Speechchat". Is there a way for me to be able to hear the bot without my audience hearing it while at the same time being able for both me and the chat to hear the alerts (follow, sub, etc)? Both seem to be coming from the desktop audio. It does not seem possible, either me and chat can hear both the bot and alerts or I can hear both and they can't (in monitor only) When I go to the settings where you can change how to monitor the audio, I can set the "Alerts" to "monitor and output", but if I set the desktop audio to "monitor only" (for the bot), when I do a test recording, both the bot and alert sounds are muted. Is there a way around this? Thanks.

How are you accessing the Speechchat and your Alerts? Are you using them as Browser Sources in OBS, or do you have them open in a separate internet browser and are listening to them through the Desktop Audio?

I don't quite know how Speechchat works, but you can maybe isolate it by using it as a Browser Source in your scene. Then you turn on "Control Audio Via OBS" and you can adjust/direct its audio input from the mixer.

I have the speech chat opened in Chrome (not as a browser source). What do you mean by "turn on Control Audio Via OBS"?

Ah, wait, I see it now, and it works! I didn't know you could control the audio via obs in the browser source. Thanks for letting me know about that!
