Hi, just got a new 144hz monitor and noticed my playback is choppy when my 60hz monitor wasn't.

What is the fix for this? Set fps range to 144, 72, 48??

Thanks,

If your hardware can't maintain a steady 144 FPS in the game you're recording without maxing out you'll need to cap the frame rate lower. Post a log.

Ok I will post a log, but my example is that I am playing BF4 getting the 144 frames a second while recording at 60fps in OBS. The playback video is choppy when recording at 60fps. Do I need to record at 144 or some integer of 144 like 72, etc?

Recording 60 FPS from a 144 FPS source might exhibit small hitches since frames can't be taken at even intervals, but it wouldn't be choppy. You could cap at 120 FPS (again assuming your GPU is up to the task) to correct that since it could take every other frame.
