Hey all,
Been using OBS for over a year and love it. Been messing with and testing the Steam broadcasting.
With Steam broadcasting, 720p@30fps and 3000kb/s, it simply looks amazing.
Anyone have any tips to get a similar quality to this? I feel like Twitch and OBS just aren't reaching that same clarity as Steam has. Is there a reason for this? Is it the video player, or something?
I generally Stream @ 3200kb/s, 720p, 30 fps, on "Faster" setting. Sometimes "fast".
But I feel like my twitch streams aren't as good. More grainy, blocky, not as sharp I guess?
Here's just a random example of a highlight of mine: http://www.twitch.tv/drumstix42/c/5685078
*Edit* Also the Steam broadcasting takes very little performance hit. So much that I can stream both Twitch and Steam at the same time, and don't notice a gaming difference (for any game, not just Isaac).
Thanks for any help.
